Key Responsibilities
As a Supply Chain Administrator, you will:
- Monitor and ensure timely deliveries of inbound and outbound freight.
- Coordinate the movement of containers from UK ports to 3PL warehouses, liaising with hauliers and ports as needed.
- Resolve inbound shipment issues to ensure timely container releases.
- Oversee the booking, payment, and delivery of containers to warehouses.
- Manage parcel carriers, ensuring on-time delivery and effective issue resolution.
- Review and approve invoices from parcel carriers for accuracy.
- Work with 3PL providers and Customer Service teams to address logistics-related queries.
- Track vendor KPIs and ensure service levels align with expectations.
- Support the warehouse team during holiday cover, including creating shipping labels and following up on order dispatches.
- Maintain the non-conformance log, documenting and resolving transit damages.
- Correct exchange rates and update shipping costs in the OrderWise system.
- Handle any additional tasks assigned by your Line Manager within your scope of work.
Education
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Proficiency with supply chain systems (experience with OrderWise is a plus).
