We are looking for an ambitious, skilled, and strategic Studio Support Engineer with a proven record of accomplishment and a passion for ensuring seamless broadcast operations.

Studio Support Engineer

 The purpose of this position is to manage the broadcast studios and all related studio installations to ensure seamless, reliable, and high-quality broadcasting. The role provides technical support for all studio operations, ensures optimal functioning of audio equipment, and guarantees that live and recorded productions run without interruption.

• Meet your performance targets and KPIs as set by management annually.

• Responsible for the maintenance and support of the studio and transmission infrastructure.
• Carries out corrective maintenance on the transmission equipment during breakdown ensuring that the station is kept on air throughout the night.
• Continuously monitors the radio signal with a view to resolving any transmission problems arising thereof.
• Plan and execute outside broadcasts from remote locations
• Draw up a maintenance plan and strictly adhere to it.
• Carry out repairs on equipment’s to the industry standards
• Develop and maintain backup solutions to minimize downtimes
• Ensure all software’s are up to date
• Give real time reports to the Broadcast Engineer

At least 3 years of experience working with studio equipment for Radio.
