About Karnett Kenya

Karnett Kenya is a registered car dealership located in Nairobi Kenya in the suburbs of Karen on Lang’ata road. Our facility is big enough to accommodate 60 units which is the design of a standard dealership.

The business was started in 2014 and majorly dealt with importing vehicles from Japan. The main providence towards Karnett was to earn the client’s loyalty by delivering sales and services of high quality, especially in an industry filled with untrustworthy individuals.

Karnett has created a strong embrace and a safe space for used units to sell with the right value of the client’s vehicle and correct papers without any mischief.  The importation sector was greatly improved by offering the best units, with the comfort of the client, no hustle of import clearance, delivery and value identification.

The company is led by our director who has over 10 years of experience in the automotive industry and an MBA in finance and banking. He has also worked with some of the leading automobile brands in Kenya and East Africa, giving Karnett a solid baseline in the industry.

We are looking for a Sales Manager who would be able to stock, staff and meet sales targets.

With the commission being a significant majority. To reiterate, the salary is heavily dependent on performance.


  • Coordinate with vehicle suppliers to ensure full vehicle capacity at the dealership.
  • Negotiate with suppliers on behalf of the company in terms of vehicle price point per unit and quality of the unit.
  • Coordinate with the finance department to determine each client’s financing and ownership options.
  • Generating leads and ideas that bring in profits and services to the company.
  • Negotiate car prices and trade-in values for customers’ vehicles.
  • Answering client questions about client terms, products, prices and availability.
  • Maintaining client records and conducting follow up with them.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Accompanying the clients on test drives and collecting any documentation needed.
  • Meeting and exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Co-coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs


  • A bachelor’s degree or a diploma in business, marketing, or in a related field is an added advantage.

More Details on Experience

  • Sales experience in a similar position 2-4 years’ experience and can provide a reliable referee for clarification
  • A valid driver’s license and at least 1-year driving experience is an added advantage.

  • Exceptional customer service skills including interpersonal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, excel and outlook.
  • Successfully managing customer relationships
