Summary

Reports to       :              Business Development Manager    

Location           :             Nairobi-Commercial Street offices                              

Job purpose:

Generate revenue and contribute to organization business growth through sale of company products and services. Provide excellent customer service and ensure seamless sales administration process.

Description

  • Direct selling of company products and services in the assigned territory (Nairobi, Mount Kenya, Maasai Mara).
  • Achieve and exceed the set individual sales performance target.
  • Present sales forecast/projections report as guided.
  • Prospect for new clients to grow the customers’ base.
  • Build business relationship for existing clientele.
  • Plan for regional business trips to visit clients as approved by the Manager.
  • Deal with sales inquiries and customers feedback including complaints. Attend client organised events /sales exhibition/ trade shows as approved by the company.
  • Handle sales administration processes from quotation, job card, delivery, invoicing to closing job cards.
  • Handle credit facilities applications by Clients in liaison with your manager. Proactively ensure collection of all your outstanding debts.
  • Share market intelligence with your manager in your day-to-day interactions. Share any emerging customers’ needs and identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Undertake other duties as may be assigned by your manager.

Education

  • Minimum diploma in Sales/ Marketing or business-related course.

More Details on Experience

  • Valid vehicle driving license minimum class B.
  • Automotive parts more than 3 years’ sales work experience preferably on suspension products, vehicle conversions, with good knowledge of company products /services.
  • Basic sales financial literacy.
  • Ability to forge business relationships and networks with excellent communication skills.
  • Good knowledge on ERP system, social media digital tools and Microsoft office programs.
