Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Restaurant Supervisor in  a restaurant in Meru to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring smooth service and maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for delivering excellent customer service, and a strong understanding of restaurant operations. The restaurant has a seating capacity of 300 people.

Description

  • Supervise Daily Operations:
    • Oversee the daily activities of restaurant staff, ensuring that service standards are met.
    • Ensure that food preparation, presentation, and service meet company quality standards.
    • Monitor and manage inventory, ensuring sufficient stock levels.
  • Customer Service:
    • Greet and assist guests to ensure they have an enjoyable dining experience.
    • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction.
    • Ensure proper table settings, cleanliness, and ambiance.
  • Staff Supervision and Training:
    • Supervise, motivate, and manage the restaurant team to maintain a high level of performance.
    • Train new staff on company standards, safety procedures, and customer service.
    • Schedule shifts and manage labor costs.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, including food safety guidelines.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant area.
    • Monitor staff for compliance with food handling and hygiene protocols.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Assist in managing restaurant finances, including handling cash, credit transactions, and ensuring accurate daily reports.
    • Assist with ordering supplies and managing inventory control.
  • Problem Solving:
    • Resolve conflicts and handle challenging situations with a calm and professional approach.
    • Take necessary actions in the absence of the Restaurant Manager to ensure smooth operations.

Education

  • A degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is required.

More Details on Experience

    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
    • Proven experience in customer service and staff management.
