We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team.

Job Summary:
The Quantity Surveyor will play a critical role in managing project costs and ensuring financial success across our diverse portfolio of projects, encompassing building construction, interior fit-out works, and bespoke furniture design and fabrication. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of construction and interior design processes, exceptional analytical abilities, and proficiency in relevant software.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for all project types, including building construction, interior fit-out works, and custom furniture (kitchens, wardrobes, beds, office furniture, etc.), based on design specifications and drawings.
  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates and generate competitive quotations for projects, supporting bids and tenders.
  • Collaborate closely with the design and construction teams to provide cost advice, value engineering options, and ensure projects remain within budget parameters.
  • Monitor project expenditures, track variations, and provide regular cost reports to project stakeholders.
  • Maintain meticulous cost records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices, cost trends, and new technologies in quantity surveying.
  • Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Prepare valuation reports for completed work and generate timely payment applications for sites.

Education

  • Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.

  • 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction and interior design industry.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in preparing BOQs, cost estimations, and tender documentation.
  • Ability to accurately interpret design drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
