Summary
Responsible for providing assistance in the effective management and maintenance of residential and commercial properties through management of accurate data and information.
Description
- Assist in sourcing and comparison of quotes for repair and maintenance work for all the property and ensure quality services are rendered;
- Avail the invoices to the Building Caretaker for distribution to the tenants;
- Produce tenants’ Account Statements as and when required;
- Calling up tenants to follow up on rental arrears as necessary;
- Daily checks on accuracy of tenants’ accounts by updating the books and communicating the necessary adjustments;
- Raise purchase requests for repairs/replacement of building requirements, including lighting, plumbing, fuel, furniture and fittings;
- Raise Petty Cash Vouchers and collecting monies to pay for various supplies and repair jobs to the buildings;
- Attend and record proceedings of rent committee meetings;
- Participate in rental dispute resolution meetings as and when they occur; and
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned
Education
A Bachelor’s degree in Building Economics, Land Economics, Architecture, Property Management, Valuation or any other property-related discipline from a recognized university
More Details on Experience
Must have at least three (3) years of experience in a comparable position from a reputable organization
