Your Strategic Role
As Program Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission, steering high-impact programs that shape Africa’s development landscape. In addition to managing program delivery, you will:
- Lead with Vision: Drive the full lifecycle of complex programs, from strategy and planning to execution and evaluation, ensuring every initiative delivers measurable
- Strengthen Project Management: Oversee day-to-day project planning, budgeting, coordination, and delivery to ensure all activities are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Enhance Client Engagement: Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, manage expectations, facilitate co-creation, and maintain strong, trust-based relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Shape Organizational Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of strategic plans, translate client needs into fit-for-purpose frameworks, and provide thought leadership on emerging trends in development consulting and
- Drive Business Development: Identify and pursue new business and funding opportunities, lead proposal and grant development, and cultivate relationships with clients, donors, and partners.
- Inspire Excellence: Supervise and mentor multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring quality, consistency, and innovation in every project.
- Promote Innovation: Guide technical teams to develop contextually relevant solutions, promote digital integration, and champion evidence-based approaches.
- Engage and Influence: Represent F4P Africa in high-level meetings, conferences, and sector forums, building relationships that amplify our reach and reputation.
- Deliver Results: Monitor performance, manage risks, and ensure all programs exceed expectations—on time, every time.

Education
What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- 10–15+ years’ experience in program and project management, ideally with donor- funded and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to lead, influence, and inspire teams in dynamic, cross-cultural
- Outstanding communication, stakeholder engagement, and analytical
- Demonstrated success in business development, fundraising, and strategic partnership building.
