Description
**Role and Responsibilities**
- As a Media, Communications, and Publicity Intern, you will work closely with the Communications team to support the implementation of media strategies and enhance the visibility of the EDCA. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the development and implementation of media and communications plans to promote the Emali Dedicated Children Agency.
- Supporting the creation of engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, newsletters, and press releases.
- Assisting in organizing and documenting project activities, including interviews, events, and success stories.
- Conducting research on media trends, target audiences, and best practices in communications and publicity.
- Assisting in monitoring media coverage and preparing regular reports on the reach and impact of communication efforts.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication strategies.
- Contributing to the maintenance and updating of the organization's website and social media channels.
- Providing administrative support for media and communications activities, such as scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or currently enrolled in a relevant field (e.g., Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, or related disciplines).
More Details on Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in media, communications, or public relations.
- Familiarity with media relations and experience in drafting press releases or media pitches.
