As a Mechanical Engineer in our Feed Mill, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the facility by overseeing the design, installation, maintenance, and optimization of mechanical systems and equipment. You will work closely with the production team to enhance equipment performance, minimize downtime, and contribute to the overall success of our feed production processes

Equipment Design and Installation:
• Collaborate with the design and construction teams to plan and implement mechanical systems for new projects or facility upgrades.
• Ensure the selection and installation of machinery meet production requirements and comply with safety and industry standards.

Maintenance and Repair:
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs for all mechanical equipment in the feed mill.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs to minimize production downtime.
• Work closely with maintenance staff to implement best practices for equipment reliability and longevity

Process Optimization;

• Analyze existing processes to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Implement changes and upgrades to machinery and systems to optimize production output and quality.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and recommend adjustments to enhance overall feed mill efficiency

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay informed about relevant safety and environmental regulations.
• Ensure that mechanical systems and equipment comply with all applicable standards and regulations.

Project Management:

• Manage and coordinate engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.

Training and Documentation:

• Provide training to operational staff on the proper use and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment specifications, maintenance records, and modifications.

• Proven 1- 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably in the feed or food processing industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including conveyors, mills, mixers, and other feed production equipment.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design and drafting.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations
