An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly skilled Live-In Nurse Caregiver to join a bespoke care arrangement for an elderly female client with limited mobility. This role requires a professional caregiver with demonstrable expertise in nursing and a compassionate approach to delivering person-centred care. The role involves collaboration with other personnel managing daily living tasks, ensuring the client’s needs are met with the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and respect for her independence.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Personal Care:
• Assist the client with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring her comfort and dignity at all times.
• Provide tailored support to encourage as much independence as possible.
2. Health Monitoring and Clinical Support:
• Conduct regular health assessments, including monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation.
• Record and communicate any changes in the client’s health to family members and medical professionals.
• Administer prescribed medications safely and in accordance with medical protocols, maintaining meticulous documentation.
3. First Aid and Emergency Care:
• Provide immediate first aid in the event of minor injuries or incidents.
• Act promptly and decisively in emergency situations, ensuring the client’s safety and well-being.
4. Collaborative Care:
• Work in close partnership with other support staff responsible for daily living tasks, ensuring a holistic and seamless approach to care delivery.
• Act as the lead in clinical matters, guiding non-clinical staff where necessary.
5. Lifestyle and Companionship:
• Facilitate the client’s engagement in meaningful activities to promote her emotional and mental well-being.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a nurturing and secure environment.
6. Mobility and Safety:
• Support the client in maintaining mobility within her home, using specialised equipment where necessary.
• Ensure a safe environment by minimising risks associated with limited mobility.
7. Professional Conduct:
• Maintain the utmost respect for the client’s privacy, dignity, property, and confidentiality at all times.
• Demonstrate a high level of cultural sensitivity and understanding in all interactions.

• Experience:
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a hospital, care home, or domiciliary care setting, with a focus on elderly care.
• Proven experience in managing clients with limited mobility or complex care needs.
