Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care:
- Assist the client with personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring her comfort and dignity at all times.
- Provide tailored support to encourage as much independence as possible.
- Health Monitoring and Clinical Support:
- Conduct regular health assessments, including monitoring vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen saturation.
- Record and communicate any changes in the client’s health to family members and medical professionals.
- Administer prescribed medications safely and in accordance with medical protocols, maintaining meticulous documentation.
- First Aid and Emergency Care:
- Provide immediate first aid in the event of minor injuries or incidents.
- Act promptly and decisively in emergency situations, ensuring the client’s safety and well-being.
- Collaborative Care:
- Work in close partnership with other support staff responsible for daily living tasks, ensuring a holistic and seamless approach to care delivery.
- Act as the lead in clinical matters, guiding non-clinical staff where necessary.
- Lifestyle and Companionship:
- Facilitate the client’s engagement in meaningful activities to promote her emotional and mental well-being.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering a nurturing and secure environment.
- Mobility and Safety:
- Support the client in maintaining mobility within her home, using specialised equipment where necessary.

- Demonstrate a high level of cultural sensitivity and understanding in all interactions.
Education
- Qualifications:
- Fully qualified nurse with a valid registration (NMC or equivalent).
- Certified in First Aid and CPR, with a strong understanding of emergency protocols.
