We are seeking an experienced ESG and Carbon Offset Specialist to lead and support the development and implementation of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) and Net Zero strategies for clients across various industries. The role involves conducting ESG policy analyses, maturity assessments, and due diligence for businesses and projects. You will collaborate with internal teams to integrate ESG principles into broader consulting services, conduct carbon feasibility studies, and manage validation, monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) activities under applicable carbon standards. Additionally, you will contribute to business development initiatives and stay informed on the latest trends and regulations in ESG and carbon markets.

1. Train and build capacity on ESG and carbon offset
2. Develop and implement ESG and Net Zero strategies for clients across different industries, setting and operationalizing their ESG strategies,
3. Stay aware of global ESG trends, regulations, and best practices
4. Conduct ESG policy analyses and develop roadmaps and action plans to help improve sustainability practices of the clients
5. Conduct ESG maturity assessments and due diligence for businesses, portfolios, and projects
6. Evaluate options for including ESG mitigation and adaptation considerations in investment projects
7. Collaborate with other departments to integrate ESG principles into broader consulting services.
8. Supporting business developments to further expand our ESG-related services
9. Contribute to thought leadership and business development in the ESG domain
10. Conduct carbon feasibility studies.

11. Manage validation, monitoring, reporting, and verification (MRV) activities under applicable carbon standards.
12. Keep up-to-date with knowledge on developments in the international carbon market and (inter-)national environmental policy.

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in ESG consulting or a related field, with proven track record in project management and team leadership within environmental, sustainable development.

1. ESG Strategy Development: Expertise in creating and operationalizing ESG and Net Zero strategies across various industries.
2. Carbon Offset Management: Strong knowledge of carbon offset standards, including MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) processes.
3. Sustainability and Climate Policy Analysis: Ability to analyze global ESG trends, regulations, and sustainability policies.
4. Maturity Assessments and Due Diligence: Experience in conducting ESG maturity assessments, due diligence for businesses, portfolios, and investment projects.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with various departments and integrate ESG principles into broader services.
6. Business Development: Experience in supporting business development initiatives and expanding ESG-related services.
7. Project Management: Proven track record in managing ESG and carbon offset projects from strategy to execution.
8. Technical Expertise: Familiarity with carbon feasibility studies and the implementation of sustainability roadmaps and action plans.
9. Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to assess sustainability risks and opportunities.
10. Communication and Thought Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to contribute to ESG thought leadership and client presentations.
11. Adaptability: Ability to stay updated on evolving international carbon markets and environmental policies.
12. Certification: Relevant certifications in ESG, sustainability, or carbon offset management (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14064) are preferred.
