A leading interior fit out construction company is seeking to recruit a competent and results-driven Driver to join the procurement team. The successful candidate will ensure timely delivery of materials to various sites.

Reporting to the Procurement Officer.

Job Purpose: To provide secure and timely driving services and transport goods, deliver site materials, and assist with postage and pickup of site and office purchases.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Providing driving services for staff and others involved with projects as instructed by the line manager.
• Ensure strict adherence to the timely service and maintenance of vehicle allocated.
• Maintaining a daily log of all trips, mileage and fuel consumption for monthly checking by line manager.
• Ensure proper use and care of the vehicle allocated.
• Ensuring that vehicles are taken to the garage in good time when faults emerge.
• Ensuring that vehicles are clean at all times.
• Ensure compliance with Traffic rules at all times.
• Ensure security of the vehicle on and off the road.
• Ensure safety and security of materials in the vehicle.
• Do messengerial duties within and outside the CESL office either on foot of by vehicle. 
• Any other duties as assigned by line manager.

• Over 5 years of driving experience.
• Valid Certificate of good conduct.
• Suitability test for driver’s Grade III.
• First aid certificate course will be an added advantage.
• Mechanical training will be an added advantage.
• Must pass a practical test for drivers conducted by the Management.
