Summary

Our client a marketing and communication company, is recruiting a Business Head with a  high level of professional advertising and in-depth IMC knowledge and skill and manages key accounts with little supervision from Management. As a senior resource, the Business Head is expected to serve as a lead to both clients and staff members and must provide superior client service with confidence, independence and sound judgment.

Description

Client Management, Leadership, Operational Management and Quality Control

  • Has a deep understanding of the clients’ business and of the key broader factors and trends shaping their markets and categories. Continually enhances knowledge of the client’s brand, products and marketplace. Looks for opportunities to engage in broader business dialogue with clients.
  • Provide thought leadership, develop and implements strategy tools and processes.
  • Ultimately responsible for the smooth running of the business unit – strategically, operationally, creatively - and is answerable on these points to client, BUH and the Managing Director.
  • Manage client’s expectations by ensuring delivery of planned communication material on time, and keep the client constantly briefed on all relevant account activity.
  • Involve the Managing Director appropriately on all relevant issues; client satisfaction, the status of business and achievement of objectives, brand health, creative projects, timings etc.
  • Build strong and enduring relationships with clients, professionally and socially, giving them the confidence to buy brave ideas.

Brand Strategy & Brand Idea Development

  • Provides simple and clear direction with insight & vision.
  • Advanced ability to articulate and document thinking/ideas.
  • Ability to provide inspiration for the client service team and creative.
  • Ability to provide confidence to clients.

Multi-disciplinary design and media-neutral communications strategy development

  • Identify relevant brand engagement opportunities.
  • Strategize relevant brand actions / communications.

Client Relationships

  • Elevate the client’s perception of the agency from an advertising supplier to a valued business partner, within the context of the total marketing mix, not just advertising.
  • Represent the agency’s point of view with integrity and resolve.

Self-Management

  • Responsible for daily supervision of the team members, i.e. Brand Executives, Brand Partners etc.
  • Effectively and efficiently delegate duties across the team through proper role assignment of tasks.
  • Have effectively time management by ensuring that set deadlines are met and prioritization of jobs achieved.

New Business

  • Responsible for growing existing client business and also new business development.
  • Help clients identify and define new business and brand positioning opportunities

Education

  • Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques.
  • An awareness of digital media and evolving online platforms.

 

More Details on Experience

  • Account handling experience working in an agency, in Account Management.
  • 7- 10 Years of relevant experience.
  • Experience of introducing Digital & Social into Client briefs.
  • Experience in managing Global clients.
  • Experience of preparing and delivering presentations/proposals of a strategic nature.
  • The willingness to work to tight deadlines in high pressured environments without compromising on work quality.
