Summary
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the finance department, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting with financial reporting.
Description
- Preparing bank and cash payment vouchers and ensure that all payments are properly and accurately supported
- Ensuring all transactions are correctly posted in QuickBooks
- Ensuring that petty cash is counted and recorded at the end of each month
- Filing and maintaining proper accounting records and documentations
- Assisting with payroll processing and filing statutory returns
- Assisting to prepare finance reports and budgets
- Assisting in purchasing office stationery
- Consolidating reports
- Updating personnel files
- Maintaining service contracts
- Attending to office routine work
- Giving prompt response to enquiries/queries
- Ensuring staff time sheets are signed and filed
- Any other duties as may be requested from time to time.
Education
- Diploma / Degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) II Examination
More Details on Experience
- 1 - 2 years of experience in accounting for donor funded projects.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft office.
