Summary
Our client, a residential association managing a property consisting of blocks of residential, commercial units and a school building situated on Mombasa Rd in the Syokimau/Mlolongo area are looking for a Temporary Accountant for a period of 6 months starting from December 2024. The accountant will be part of a team, reporting directly to the Estate Manager, with an indirect reporting relation to the Treasurer and Chairman of the association. As part of their broad duties, they will work closely with the estate caretaker.
Description

Prepare Service Charge and Water Invoices on time
-
Attend to tenants/homeowners queries regarding their accounts on water and service charge

Attend to Visitors that visit the office to inquire on vacant houses and other queries.

Updating payment on daily basis and writing the receipts.

Prepare account statement for water & service charge as requested by Homeowners /tenant
-
Assisting in clearing of exiting and entry of new tenants
-
Examining account receivables and payables to ensure accuracy.

Preparing financial reports on monthly basis.
-
Compute taxes owed, prepare tax returns, prepare bills, generate receipts and ensure prompt payment.

Prepare defaulters list and do follow up on debts.

Payroll processing

Petty cash management
-
Any other assignment given by the Estate Manager.
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field

CPA Part II (Section 4) minimum.
